Our safaris are tailored to fit your needs and wishes.
Hunting the Eastern Cape
This area was originally opened up by English settlers in the 1820's. Five
generations later the areas are still owned and run by the same families. The
hunting areas are vast with tremendous variety of
species available to the
serious trophy hunter. Here we have several very large hunting concessions
and are accommodated in either very comfortable thatched-style bush camps or
in the original ranch style homesteads, some well over a 100 years old. Meals
are typical South African dishes served with outstanding locally produced wines.
This area consists of a wide variety of habitats. One day we could be hunting
Blue Duiker on the coast and the next day we might well be in the Winterberg
Mountain range which in places is 7,000 ft above sea level looking for Mountain
Reedbuck or Vaal Rhebuck. Other days are spent looking for Cape Bushbuck or
Cape Kudu in densely wooded hills and valleys, or hunting across completely
open flats after Springbok, black wildebeest or the very rare Bontebok.
Hunting in KwaZulu-Natal (Zululand)
Zululand also offers a number of hunting opportunities of a very high standard. These areas lie on the east coast of South Africa approximately 3 hours drive north of Durban or 7 hours from Johannesburg. Traditional home to the Zulu nation, Zululand is steeped in history and culture. Once a savage land of warring tribes and vast wilderness areas where Zulu kings held private hunting grounds, it is now better known for its National Parks, wildlife and unspoiled coastline. The hunting areas are privately owned, family run operations where excellent hunting opportunities are to be had. Species like Livingstone's Suni, Red Duiker, White Rhino and of course the well known Nyala occur in abundance. Here we are accommodated in comfortably furnished East African style safari tents with in suite bathrooms or in reed and thatch traditional bungalows with similar features. These camps all have a central dinning facility where one can relax in comfortable lounges or at the bar enjoying the view. Meals are served around a fire complemented by outstanding South African wines. Other attractions to this region are offshore fishing including Marlin and Sailfish and outstanding scuba diving on unspoiled coral reefs.
To offer you other species and hunting areas we have formed relationships with other companies in neighboring countries so that we can offer you a full range of hunting opportunities from the diminutive Blue Duiker through to the African Elephant. All safaris start and end at one of the major cities all of which have world class hotels offering five star cuisine and shopping, where one can relax after your adventure filled South African Hunting experience.
