This area also differs dramatically from one side to the other. Starting just north of Pretoria where the terrain is fairly open savannah and species like the Hartebeest, Wildebeest and Zebra occur ,moving up into densely wooded hills were Greater Kudu ,Klipspringer and many other species are to be found. Further north the bushveld dries out into typical woodland dotted with Baobab trees. Here excellent Impala, Warthog, Waterbuck and tremendous variety of plains game as well as many of the Big 5 occur. Camps are typical thatch roof bungalows all of which are in suite, sharing a central dinning facility where traditional South African meals are served around a blazing fire. This is the heart of game country and hunting opportunities are excellent.
